Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Curious about the difference between Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality? Want to know why it's so exciting and what role it has in the classroom? Come learn and play with exciting and easy-to-use augmented reality tools that will elicit oohs and ahhs from your students. Learn how to code a Merge Cube using CoSpaces to include your students content. That may sound like gibberish, but this session is ideal for teachers looking for something new and exciting to try with their students. Don't be afraid of the term 'augmented reality'. This class is for everyone, Science, Math, ELA, etc. No experience necessary!

Please bring a laptop and a mobile device, if you have one, and load the CoSpaces app on it ahead of time.

Attendees will use the website CoSpaces to create an augmented reality lesson that can be viewed on a computer or a Merge Cube. Attendees will learn some very basic, beginner coding with CoBlocks (like Blockly).

Attendees will learn how AR can impact student learning. Attendees will learn tools to create AR environments.
